When Quipu is the better fit
- If you want the tax forms and tax forecasting inside the program itself.
- If you need bank connection and reconciliation (from its Solution plan).
- If you scan more than 5 expenses a month and don’t want to move up a plan.
- If you sell on WooCommerce or PrestaShop, which Quipu lists among its integrations (zBilling integrates with Shopify).
- If you also want to hire its accounting (gestoría) service.

Frequently asked questions
Can I switch from Quipu to zBilling?
Yes. Add your customers and products to zBilling and start invoicing with a new series. Keep the invoices you have already issued in Quipu, together with their records, for the legally required periods.
Do both comply with Verifactu?
Both state that their plans include Verifactu. Always ask for the manufacturer’s statement of compliance (declaración responsable): it is the document in which the manufacturer certifies that its software complies with the regulation.
Which one is cheaper?
Based on public information as of 20 October 2026, zBilling’s entry-level plan costs €10/month including IVA and Quipu’s €17/month (its page doesn’t clarify IVA). Compare each plan’s limits too.
